Daily Bits

  • I just purchased a license for Billings (for OS X) and 100% of the proceeds from all purchases made today, 20 January 2010, of Billings licenses will be donated to Haiti via Doctors Without Borders. A generous show of support by marketcircle and great time for those of you who, like me, do consulting work to buy an exceptional piece of software.

  • Jumping on the bandwagon … I am loving Apple’s new Magic Mouse.

  • I quite like the brand work of Karen Barranco at Special Modern Design and I suspect you will as well.

  • The sample art presented on the Hoefler & Frere-Jones website represents some of my favorite graphic design. It is produced by resident designer Brian Hennings and here is some insight into his process.

  • Another site for me to loose hours exploring. Buamai is a curated image bookmarking website. It was designed by Michael Paul Young who’s work I have long appreciated.

  • Hi, I’m Congresswoman Jenkins, I am a feakin’ idot, and I thought the world should know.

  • I am so in love with the Significant objects project. The idea of measuring the market value of meaning creation is fantastic. At times I have run across bizarre objects such as those featured on the site I would often wonder about or invent their history.
